GJA needs your support to give our boys the building, and the education, that they deserve. Every year we raise 90% of GJA’s operating income. Our Reinvention of 104 Saint Mark’s Place will add $2,000,000 to our annual goal.

Our existing 12,000-foot space, a former Catholic School, will be reinvented as a home for collaboration, scholarship and expression. The school has not been renovated since long before GJA took it over in 2003, creating an opportunity for sweeping changes.

The renovation includes tools for group learning, convertible spaces to support creative electives, an expanded library, and increased technological capabilities -- all designed to foster an environment where our boys will thrive.

The project will begin prior to and during the 2018-2019 school year, with work commencing summer 2018, to focus first on interior work, followed by updates to the building's exterior.

Karen Frome of Rise Projects will be the lead architect on the project, with construction contractors DHI Construction Services.

The project will cost $2,000,000; GJA Trustees donated more than one-third of the total in the first weeks after the campaign was announced.
